N   vWhat are the primary Principles of Peace Quest?

  • Peace is made real through understanding, tolerance and compassion.
  • Violence is made real by Power Over and fear.

  • True global peace begins with one individual at a time. Everyone has a right to make choices in attitude for him/herself. Compassionate talking, listening and action skills can help change the world.

  • Everyone has the right to be heard and understood.

  • Everyone has the right to dignity.

All of the animals raced panic-stricken through the Forest shouting,
"The sky is falling! The sky is falling!"
A tiny, little bird lay down on her back on the path,
her fragile, thin legs straight up in the air.
"What are you doing?" asked a curious deer.
"I'm going to hold up the sky," replied the little bird.
"That's impossible! It's far too big!" shouted the deer running on.
"One does what one can do," whispered the bird softly.
